Inspired by my dear friend Alunaria, I here post a random assortment of screenshots from adventures during October. Just when you wanted to forget about that month, eh? At your service. My screenshots are not great, and I can’t just stop talking. You’ve been warned.
This guy takes two gold for cleaning your clothes. So you take your clothes to the cleaners but Mr Glossgleam does not take you to the cleaners. Over the hillarious!
Doesn’t he look a bit like Jackie Chan?
I have a hunter. When she visited her class “hall”, for the first time I was very happy to see Raene Wolfrunner there. In Trueshot Lodge, Raene patrols and checks three small shrines. Two of which are guarded by her wolf and tiger, respectively. To meet Raene is a nostalgic moment for an old vanilla player, even if she is still an NPC in Astranaar. Raene’s Cleansing was one of those great vanilla quest chains. Small parts of it remains. During the course of the chain you got Dartol’s Rod of Transformation. Few people finished the chain as transforming “toys” were far and few between in those days. I actually did finish the chain on my warrior twink (with a lot of help) to get Glacial Stone. Despite being a manic hoarder, I do not seem to have it anymore. 😦 Except in appearance collection. Ashenvale was one of my absolute favorite zones pre-cata. Have quested much there on several characters. The music in Ashenvale I just love.
In a cave in Mac’Aree one can take a void bath. My infernal was happy. I think.
Gnome Race from Gnomeregan to Booty Bay! That was fun! Run run run and lots of gnomes cheered on, even Millhouse Manastorm.
A happy onlooker:
One who seemed not too enthusiastic with the gnome invasion in Booty Bay was the poor Horde flight master. He looks like: “Please, can someone take me away from this place?!”
Gnome runs was also a thing of early wow. One of many things which people did for fun, without any thoughts about achievements. One of my absolute favorite wow videos is Lady Sylvanas Gets a Visit. After like a decade on youtube, they decided to remove the music. For intellectual poverty, pooperty, err… property, reasons. But the original music is mentioned in the comments, so if you want the original experience then play it in another browser tab. Silly, I know…
Somehow, I imagine gnomes would love Professor Kliq:
Shortcuts are not always fastest. I managed to get stuck while doing manasaber riding world quest:
When the kids were small I once took a shortcut that turned out to be a huge detour and got stuck in traffic and what not. So every time after that I said the word “shortcut” they would yell “Oh no, not one of Dad’s shortcuts!”. They had a lot of fun with that :p
Well I have more photos from October adventures, but now I am going to play the darn game a bit, too. To be continued…
